Dear DDSN Consumers and Family Members:
In 1996, the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) began a new approach to delivering services called Person-Centered services. An important part of Person-Centered services is that you can choose who provides your services.
To help consumers and families, DDSN started a Provider/Service Directory which is a list of organizations or agencies that are qualified to provide DDSN-funded services to you, our consumer, or to your family member.
This Provider/Service Directory includes names of providers, types of services offered, types of disabilities served, ages served and counties in which the services are provided. Please note: all providers may not offer services for all ages or in all counties.
Each organization on this list must meet the federal, state, and DDSN requirements for quality and safety to become a provider of DDSN supports and services.
It is DDSN’s belief that additional service providers will offer you greater opportunities to choose the supports and services that make sense in your life.
Please use the links below to provide you with more information on the various services and resources offered by DDSN, as well as information on how to acquire these services.
